Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process
Ensure compliance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures
Utilize critical thinking to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
Collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Provide compassionate care to patients in a 31-bed Med-Surg unit

Qualifications

Active Alaska RN license required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
3 years of Med-Surg experience with strong critical thinking skills
Ability to work 12-hour shifts
Local candidates accepted

Knowledge & Skills

Med-Surg nursing
Critical thinking and clinical judgment
Proficiency in Meditech, OBIX, and Pyxis systems
Strong communication and teamwork skills
