Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy across all hospital units, from neonatal to geriatric patients
• Manage and monitor ventilators (PB 840, PB 980, Hamilton C1, MR1, V-60 Respironics) and high-flow oxygen devices
• Administer life-saving treatments in Level II trauma, NICU, ICU, surgical, medical, and cardiac areas
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to develop patient care plans
• Independently assess patient respiratory status and adjust therapy as needed
• Educate patients and families on respiratory equipment and home care

Qualifications

• Active RRT or CRT credential
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Valid North Dakota state license (or ability to obtain)
• Minimum 1 year of NICU experience required
• Ability to work independently and make clinical decisions
• Must pass a background check and drug screen

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in ventilator management across all age groups
• Proficiency with neonatal care and NICU protocols
• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with Airvo, PB 840/980, Hamilton, and V-60 equipment
