Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Sunday-Thursday, 7:45 AM - 4:15 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct bedside swallow evaluations and communication assessments
Administer standardized tests in outpatient setting
Provide speech-language therapy to acute inpatients and outpatients
Collaborate with rehab aides and interdisciplinary team
Float among multiple facilities as needed

Qualifications

Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
COVID-19 vaccination required
Experience in acute care and outpatient settings preferred
Ability to work independently in bedside swallow evaluation and follow-up

Knowledge & Skills

Bedside swallow evaluation
Communication evaluation
Outpatient standardized test administration
Inpatient and outpatient care
Trauma center and stroke center protocols
