Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care to oncology, telemetry, and med-surg patients in a 32-bed unit
• Monitor and interpret EKG rhythms, administer chemotherapy (if certified), and manage central lines
• Perform Foley catheter insertions and central line dressing changes with strict sterile technique
• Collaborate with charge nurses, PCTs, and SWAT IV team for optimal patient outcomes
• Float to other MedSurg/Tele units as needed to support the team
• Participate in SIMs lab and orientation to ensure competency and confidence

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license in Arizona
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Chemotherapy certification strongly preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg or Telemetry nursing experience
• Ability to pass DYS exam and SIMs lab skills (sterile field, Foley, central line)
• Willingness to adhere to facility policies (natural hair color, no facial piercings, clean shave for fit test)
