Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac strips for arrhythmias
• Titrate intravenous drips including Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, and Nitro
• Provide PCU level care with a patient ratio of 1:4-5 (days) or 1:5-6 (nights), including overflow PCU patients at 1:3
• Care for adults and geriatrics with cardiac conditions, including post-cath, EP studies, and pacemakers
• Manage acute conditions such as pneumonia, sepsis, influenza, and COVID on BiPAP
• Collaborate with charge nurse and interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care
• Float to PCU or MS units as needed for full patient assignments
• Administer medications, treatments, and patient education

Qualifications

• Current RN license in North Dakota or compact state (NLC)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• PCU or telemetry experience required
• Ability to read and interpret cardiac strips independently
• Epic experience preferred but not required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
