Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care to high-risk laboring and delivery patients in a Level 3 facility
Perform vaginal exams and internal monitor placements with confidence
Circulate and recover C-Section patients delivering life-changing moments
Titrate critical drips like Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Insulin, and Heparin
Monitor fetal strips and manage antepartum patients ensuring safety
Collaborate with in-house OB/Neonatologists and Anesthesia 24/7

Qualifications

Active RN license
BLS, ACLS, AFM, and NRP certifications
Experience with high-risk laboring/delivery and antepartum patients
Independent and confident in vaginal exams and internal monitor placement
Able to circulate and recover C-Sections
Comfortable titrating drips and reading fetal monitor strips

Education

RN licensure required
Relevant OB/L&D experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Titration of Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Insulin, and Heparin
Fetal monitor strip interpretation using Cerner EFM system
High-risk OB patient management
Vaginal exams and internal monitor placement
C-Section circulation and recovery
AWHONN staffing ratio guidelines
