Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, approximately 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $27 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Schedule and coordinate outpatient surgical procedures for 20 surgeons across multiple specialties
Act as a key liaison between surgeons offices, patients, anesthesia providers, and clinical staff
Ensure seamless scheduling in line with ASC policies, block utilization, and surgeon availability
Manage adjustments, cancellations, and same-day add-ons to keep patient flow efficient
Optimize daily case volume and room utilization with anesthesia and nursing leadership
Maintain precise scheduling data in the ASC system
Uphold compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and accreditation standards
Deliver top-notch customer service as the friendly face of the ASC

Qualifications

Experience in surgical scheduling or outpatient surgery center operations preferred
Strong organizational skills for a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication for liaising with multiple teams and patients

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; administrative or healthcare-related training a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in scheduling systems
Knowledge of regulatory standards like HIPAA and CMS
Flexibility and sound judgment under pressure
Customer service excellence
