End Date: 08-31-2026

Shift Type: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, first to float

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor and interpret telemetry strips to ensure patient safety
Provide compassionate care to surgical, neuro, and medical patients including those with CVA and TIA
Collaborate with charge nurses, RTs, and nurse aides in a 1:5 ratio environment
Manage respiratory support like BiPAP, CPAP, and high flow nasal cannula
Float to nearby units when needed to support the team

Qualifications

Active RN license with at least 2 years of experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Comfortable reading basic tele strips and caring for general, orthopedic surgical patients
Experience with CVA and TIA patients a must

Education

RN licensure; BSN not required

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
Cerner charting system (highly recommended)
Patient care for COVID, respiratory, GI, diabetics, and surgical cases
Respiratory equipment including BiPAP and high flow
