Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver full-time physical therapy to a diverse population from pediatric to geriatric clients across orthopedics, neurology, vestibular, and wound care
Provide inpatient and outpatient care, home visits, and community outreach in western Alaska
Travel to villages to bring essential therapy services to remote Alaskan Native communities
Adhere to top standards of care including JCAHO and OSHA while respecting cultural diversity
Collaborate with physicians and medical teams to create impactful treatment plans

Qualifications

Master’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
Licensed in good standing in Alaska as a Physical Therapist
CPR certification
Hospital-based experience a plus

Education

Master’s degree from an accredited program in Physical Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

Strong communication skills to connect with physicians, clients, and diverse cultures including non-English speakers
Mathematical abilities for computing rates, ratios, and interpreting graphs
Reasoning skills to solve practical problems in varied settings with limited standardization
Ability to read professional journals, write reports, and present effectively
