Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver full-time physical therapy to a diverse population from pediatric to geriatric clients across orthopedics, neurology, vestibular, and wound care
- Provide inpatient and outpatient care, home visits, and community outreach in western Alaska
- Travel to villages to bring essential therapy services to remote Alaskan Native communities
- Adhere to top standards of care including JCAHO and OSHA while respecting cultural diversity
- Collaborate with physicians and medical teams to create impactful treatment plans
Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Licensed in good standing in Alaska as a Physical Therapist
- CPR certification
- Hospital-based experience a plus
Education
- Master’s degree from an accredited program in Physical Therapy
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong communication skills to connect with physicians, clients, and diverse cultures including non-English speakers
- Mathematical abilities for computing rates, ratios, and interpreting graphs
- Reasoning skills to solve practical problems in varied settings with limited standardization
- Ability to read professional journals, write reports, and present effectively
