Roles & Responsibilities

Master prescribed techniques to perform CT and rad procedures with precision, adjusting equipment for optimal results
Ensure patient and staff safety by practicing radiation protection techniques
Maintain spotless x-ray rooms and equipment through daily cleaning
Handle call assignments smoothly to support the team
Execute quality control tasks and keep detailed reports for top-notch procedures
Manage general office duties like scheduling and patient coordination
Perform diagnostic testing and general maintenance on imaging equipment

Qualifications

ARRT Registered with CT certification
Minimum 6 months experience in Computerized Tomography
Current Basic Life Support certification
Completion of formal radiological technologist training from an AMA approved program
MRI experience preferred

Education

Completion of formal radiological technologist training in an AMA approved training program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in CT and RAD procedures
Equipment adjustment and positioning
Radiation protection techniques
Quality control and maintenance
Patient preparation including contrast materials
