Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and supervise ACT clinicians with clinical guidance and support
Deliver trauma-informed, strengths-based care using evidence-based therapies like EMDR, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing
Provide screening, crisis intervention, short-term therapy, and referrals
Foster collaboration among primary care and mental health teams for optimal client outcomes
Manage clinician timekeeping and attend key interdepartmental meetings
Monitor services and adapt to current treatment needs and philosophies

Qualifications

Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or psychology
Completed clinical practicum during Master’s program
5 years of clinical experience in relevant therapeutic settings
Proficiency in assessments, crisis intervention, therapeutic goals, and treatment planning
Obtain Alaska licensure as LCSW or LPC within 6 months of hire
Three years of sobriety if in recovery preferred

Education

Master’s degree in human services related field (social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or psychology)

Knowledge & Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication
Cultural sensitivity to diverse backgrounds
Building rapport quickly with varied clients
Working collaboratively with diverse teams
Basic computer skills and office equipment proficiency
Clinical supervisory experience a plus
