Location: Prescott, Arizona

Start Date: 06-01-2026

End Date: 08-31-2026

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, self-scheduling for 4 weeks with manager balancing, 2 weekends per 4-week schedule

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor and interpret telemetry strips to keep patients safe and stable
Deliver compassionate care to diverse patients including those with CHF, respiratory issues, diabetics, and post-cath cases
Collaborate with charge nurses, house supervisors, and nurse aides in a 1:5 ratio for optimal teamwork
Manage post-op total joint replacements and contribute to a healing environment
Float to nearby units when needed to support the broader team

Qualifications

Active RN license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam with 80% score in two attempts
Not employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with CommonSpirit facilities within past year

Education

RN degree from accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Reading and interpreting basic tele strips
Experience with CVA, TIA, and total joint replacements preferred
Familiarity with Cerner charting a big plus
Handling set-rate drips like Diltiazem/Cardizem
