Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
Provide crisis intervention and supportive counseling
Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions
Collaborate with primary care providers for holistic care
Maintain thorough clinical documentation
Offer case management and appropriate referrals
Utilize evidence-based therapies like CBT and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy

Qualifications

Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Social Work
One year of direct clinical experience with individuals, families, and groups
Active LMFT, LPC, LBHP, or LCSW license
Ability to obtain Alaska licensure within six months of hire

Education

Master's degree in a human service related field (Psychology, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Social Work)

Knowledge & Skills

Trauma-informed, strengths-based, person-centered approach
Excellent written and verbal communication
Cultural sensitivity and rapport-building with diverse groups
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in assessments, treatment planning, and crisis intervention
Basic computer and office equipment skills
