Roles & Responsibilities

Partner with clinical leaders to standardize competencies and boost patient care quality
Develop and implement engaging curriculum for nursing and CNA training
Support preceptorships and coordinate student clinical experiences
Promote SEARHC's Seven Standards of Excellence across the team
Lead evidence-based professional development to improve outcomes
Collaborate on consortium-wide education projects as a key team player

Qualifications

BSN from an accredited nursing school
Current unrestricted Alaska Registered Nurse license (or applied for before start)
BLS certification required
BLS instructor certification preferred (obtain within 1 year)
Clinical Competency assessment within 3 months and every 3 years
2 years clinical instructor/educator experience (1 year supervisory counts)
5 years professional nursing with 2 years in long-term care
Supervisory experience preferred

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with a BSN

Knowledge & Skills

Professional nursing principles for long-term care patients
Curriculum development and adult learner education methods
Evidence-based training modalities and evaluation
High-quality communication skills oral and written
Familiarity with tools like TEAMS, PowerPoint, Canva, and in-person teaching
Policy compliance and collaborative leadership
