Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Day Shift (32 hours/week)

Hours per Week: 32

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver top-notch outpatient and inpatient occupational therapy to patients of all ages
Conduct home visits and village travel to bring care where it's needed most
Collaborate closely with medical providers using evidence-based practices
Adapt treatment plans with cultural sensitivity and patient-specific needs
Champion professional ethics and respect for diverse communities
Support the mission of working together for excellent health outcomes

Qualifications

Licensed in good standing in Alaska as an OT (or eligible with another state's license pending)
Current NBCOT certification
Current BLS certification
Ready to meet immunization and credentialing requirements including Hepatitis A/B, Varicella, MMR, T-Dap, Polio or titers

Education

Knowledge & Skills

Strong communication with diverse cultures and non-English speakers
Expertise in evidence-based medicine and patient care documentation
Ability to analyze occupational therapy literature and compose medical correspondence
Didactic skills for Alaska's Direct Access privilege
