Shift Type: Full-time 40 hours/week, rotating shifts including weekends and holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Master routine histology techniques including embedding and microtomy to prepare flawless slides
Perform immunohistochemistry (IHC) and special stains with precision for accurate diagnostics
Utilize digital pathology tools to advance lab efficiency and results
Maintain meticulous attention to detail ensuring every specimen is handled with care
Contribute to a high-performing lab team delivering critical pathology support

Qualifications

HLT (Histotechnologist) Certification through ASCP required
BLS certification
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry strongly preferred
Minimum 2 years experience, 3 years preferred in histology

Education

Bachelor's in Chemistry preferred, Associates degree also preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in routine histology including embed and microtomy
Skilled in IHC and special stains
Proficiency with digital pathology
Highly detail-oriented approach
Familiarity with Epic Beaker LIS/EMR and Roche equipment
