Roles & Responsibilities

Train users across all levels on EHR and clinical systems using innovative methods like classroom sessions and web conferencing
Configure and optimize clinical content alongside medical staff for top-notch patient care
Triage issues and collaborate with IT teams, nurses, and vendors to resolve problems swiftly
Update applications with the latest tests, medications, and codes to stay ahead of best practices
Assess and enhance clinical processes across clinics for seamless operations
Develop engaging training materials that empower your colleagues

Qualifications

Active nursing license in Alaska or another U.S. state (must apply for Alaska license before start for direct hire)
Minimum 5 years in a medical setting with clinical experience preferred
At least 2 years with clinical information systems and 1 year with computer technology
BSN preferred, high school diploma required, advanced degrees may substitute experience
Basic Life Support certification
Registered Nurse License from Alaska State Board of Nursing

Education

BSN preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required, advanced degree(s) may substitute for experience

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in EHR, clinical information systems, scheduling, radiology, laboratory, and document scanning systems
Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Knowledge of medical standards, best practices, and IT systems in outpatient and inpatient settings
Proficiency with HL7 messaging and problem-solving
