Roles & Responsibilities

Coordinate and deliver compassionate nursing care to patients of all ages
Supervise team members to ensure top-notch patient safety and care
Make independent clinical decisions with confidence during your shift
Build strong relationships across departments for seamless patient support
Respond calmly to emergencies with sound nursing judgment
Maintain detailed records and transcribe orders accurately
Foster a warm, positive environment that uplifts everyone

Qualifications

Current full, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Alaska or multi-state compact
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or obtain within 6 months)
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred, especially for ED
Graduate from accredited nursing program (BSN, ADN, or Diploma)
Acute care, emergency, or long-term care experience a plus - but none required

Education

Graduate of accredited school of nursing (Bachelor’s, Associate’s, or Diploma)
High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in nursing and medical practices and procedures
Skilled at supervising teams and incorporating innovative methods
Ability to make independent decisions and handle high-pressure situations
Strong communication to connect with patients, families, and staff
