Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care across Zone 4 facilities, managing diverse ER cases with composure
• Rapidly triage patients and prioritize care to improve outcomes in the fast-paced ED setting
• Interpret telemetry strips and monitor cardiac rhythms to detect changes early
• Perform point-of-care testing and act on results to expedite treatment
• Document thoroughly and efficiently in EPIC to ensure clear, safe patient handoffs
• Collaborate closely with respiratory therapists, physicians, techs, and the ED team to deliver coordinated care
• Float between regional ERs, adapt to different unit workflows, and help maintain consistent nursing coverage
• Participate in unit orientation and ongoing competency requirements to stay current

Qualifications

• Active RN license (able to submit license) — ability to practice as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (as listed in the job details)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC or PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (current)
• Comfort and experience with 12-hour night shifts and floating across multiple ED sites
• Able to read and interpret telemetry strips independently
• Familiarity with EPIC charting (experience required/preferred)
• Reliable transportation and willingness to obtain housing that allows floating within a 60-mile radius

Education

• Active RN license required
• BSN not required (per job details)
