Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients including assistance with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
Assist with safe patient transfers and mobility to promote independence and prevent falls
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
Support nurses and other clinicians with timely, accurate charting and communication
Build rapport with patients and families to deliver respectful, patient-centered care

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential in good standing
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable performing transfers, ADL assistance, and basic clinical tasks
Ability to follow care plans and communicate clearly with the care team
Reliable, professional demeanor with a focus on patient dignity and safety

Education

High school diploma or GED required; completion of an accredited CNA program required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong observational skills for monitoring patient status and reporting changes
Knowledge of basic infection control and safety procedures
Ability to assist with and document activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding)
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well on a multidisciplinary team
Basic charting/EMR familiarity is a plus
