Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care during overnight hours
Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, feeding, mobility)
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
Perform bedside care tasks like vital signs, toileting assistance, and comfort measures
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and observations
Communicate clearly with the interdisciplinary team to support safe handoffs
Contribute to a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (required)
Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred)
Ability to work overnight 12-hour shifts and accept per-diem assignments
Comfortable assisting with patient transfers and providing hands-on care
Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing care and infection control principles
Skilled in taking and recording vital signs accurately
Able to assist with mobility, transfers, and safe patient handling
Familiarity with bedside documentation and shift reporting
Compassionate bedside manner and strong observational skills
