Shift Type: Night, Monday-Thursday, 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM (4x10-hour); Alternate weekend third-shift coverage Friday-Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (10-hour)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-volume CT imaging for ED patients across a broad age range — infants to geriatrics — delivering fast, high-quality studies
- Operate Siemens and GE CT scanners proficiently, including advanced protocols like brain perfusion and coronary CTA
- Administer IV contrast safely and start peripheral IVs when needed, following radiation safety and contrast administration protocols
- Rapidly triage and image Code Stroke and trauma patients to expedite diagnosis and care
- Process and distribute images using PACS/Visage and accurately document studies in EPIC
- Collaborate closely with emergency physicians, nurses, and the trauma team to prioritize critical patients
- Maintain patient safety and infection control standards, including adherence to facility vaccine guidelines
- Complete a thorough 48-hour orientation and engage in continuous learning to support high daily caseloads
Qualifications
- ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) — REQUIRED
- BLS certification — REQUIRED
- Minimum 2 years CT experience — must have experience in a hospital with more than 500 beds
- Proven experience on Siemens and GE scanners — DO NOT SUBMIT CANDIDATES WITHOUT SIEMENS EXPERIENCE
- Experience in inpatient, Emergency Department, and Adult ICU settings preferred
- Comfort working fast-paced ED/trauma environments and imaging Code Stroke patients
- Visage and EPIC experience preferred/required for charting and image review
- Flu vaccine required by facility (medical/religious exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
Knowledge & Skills
- CT Imaging across Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal
- Brain perfusion, CTA (including coronary and vascular CTAs), and Multiplanar Reconstruction (MPR)
- Contrast administration, venipuncture, and peripheral IV starts
- Radiation safety and infection control/Isolation Precautions/PPE
- PACS, Visage, and EPIC image/charting workflows
- Trauma and Code Stroke imaging protocols and rapid ED triage
- High-volume case management (typical daily scans 150-200; multiple rooms)
