Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Monitor and record residents' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
• Support safe patient transfers and perform hands-on care with dignity and respect
• Assist with basic procedures and maintain accurate, timely documentation
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver person-centered care
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant)
• Active placement on the New Mexico nursing assistant registry or ability to obtain registration
• Comfortable working long day shifts (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM) as part of per diem coverage
• Reliable, compassionate, and patient-focused with strong communication skills
• BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program and certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and assistance with ADLs
• Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with residents and team members
• Basic documentation and charting skills
• Knowledge of infection control and safety best practices
