Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem nights (days vary), 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, Night shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care including bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting assistance
Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and safe positioning
Measure and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
Support infection control practices and maintain a clean, comfortable environment
Assist with basic activities of daily living to promote patient dignity and independence
Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant certification
Current BLS or CPR certification preferred
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Comfortable working overnight shifts and providing hands-on patient care
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Patient hygiene, safe transfers, and mobility assistance
Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observation
Infection prevention and proper use of PPE
Basic charting and clear shift handoffs
Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced care setting
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
