Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Day shift

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
Assist with safe transfers and mobility while following proper body mechanics
Maintain clear, timely documentation to support excellent continuity of care
Help create a welcoming environment that preserves resident dignity and comfort
Communicate effectively with team members and families to support care plans

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (CNA) — required
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtained upon hire
Comfortable with patient handling, bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required by facility
Strong communication skills, empathy, and a team-oriented attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completed state-approved CNA program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in basic patient care and activities of daily living
Knowledge of infection prevention and proper PPE use
Accurate vital sign measurement and documentation skills
Ability to follow care plans and take direction from licensed nursing staff
Good interpersonal skills for working with residents and families
