Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, supporting dignity and comfort
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Take and accurately record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
• Help with safe transfers and mobility support to reduce fall risk
• Maintain clear, timely documentation of care in the patient record
• Communicate effectively with the care team and families to support coordinated care
• Promote a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (state-certified; Pennsylvania certification preferred)
• Completion of an approved CNA training program
• Ability to work the 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM evening shift; schedule flexibility helpful
• Willingness to complete required health screenings and background checks
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or able to obtain upon hire
• Previous CNA experience preferred but enthusiastic new CNAs are welcome to apply

Education

• High school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong person-centered care and compassion for older adults
• Proficient with basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADLs, transfers
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of infection control and safety best practices
• Reliable documentation and time-management abilities
• Comfortable working in fast-paced long-term care or rehab settings
