Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing setting
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Document resident status, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
Monitor residents for changes in condition and report concerns promptly
Collaborate with nurses, CNAs, therapists, and physicians to deliver coordinated care
Support resident dignity and independence through respectful, person-centered care

Qualifications

Current LPN/LVN license (Pennsylvania) or eligible for state licensure
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtain upon hire
Recent experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment is a plus
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
Proof of required immunizations and background checks as required by facility

Education

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN/LVN) program
High school diploma or GED required

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and documentation best practices
Basic wound care and restorative nursing techniques
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) or clinical charting
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced care environment
Strong observational skills and clinical judgment
