Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Day), weekends as needed
Hours per Week: 35
Candidate Pay Rate: $39 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to identify functional needs and goals
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve independence in daily living
- Deliver skilled therapeutic interventions for ADLs, transfers, cognition, and adaptive equipment
- Collaborate with nurses, PTs, SLPs and the care team to coordinate patient-centered care
- Document progress, update care plans, and contribute to discharge planning with clear outcomes
- Educate patients and families on strategies, home programs, and adaptive techniques
- Monitor outcomes and adjust interventions to maximize functional gains and safety
Qualifications
- Current Occupational Therapist license in Virginia or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Entry-level OT degree (MOT/OTD) or equivalent from an accredited program
- NBCOT certification preferred or in progress
- BLS/CPR certification required or obtain upon hire
- Comfortable working in a post-acute/rehab environment; prior OT experience preferred
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively
Education
- Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (MOT or OTD) from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in ADL assessment and adaptive equipment recommendations
- Knowledge of therapeutic modalities, splinting basics, and cognitive strategies
- Proficient documentation practices and outcome measurement
- Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary rehab team
- Time management, caseload organization, and patient/family education skills
- Comfort with electronic health records and charting workflows
