Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care consistent with facility policies
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately during the shift
- Perform timely and accurate documentation in the patient record
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and discharge planning
- Monitor patient status and escalate changes in condition to the appropriate clinician
- Support a positive environment by mentoring colleagues and contributing to unit workflows
Qualifications
- Valid LPN or RN licensure (Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse) as required to practice
- Willingness and ability to work 12+ hour day shifts (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM)
- Current basic clinical skills appropriate to the LPN/RN role and patient population
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with staff and patients
- Ability to pass facility credentialing and background checks
Education
- Completion of an accredited LPN or RN nursing program (diploma, associate degree, or equivalent)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient assessment and observation skills
- Safe medication administration and attention to detail
- Comfortable with clinical documentation and following care plans
- Effective communication with patients, families, and care teams
- Adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment
