Location: Albuquerque, NM
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem (variable days), 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM day shift (12.5-hour shift, includes 30-minute meal break)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and assist with activities of daily living
- Measure and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
- Help patients with mobility, transfers, and safe positioning
- Maintain patient comfort and dignity while supporting personal hygiene needs
- Document care accurately and communicate effectively with nurses and therapists
- Support infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
- Contribute to a positive team environment and promote patient-centered care
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Comfortable assisting with personal care and basic clinical tasks
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient-focused attitude
- Previous experience in long-term care, rehab, or acute care is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completed CNA training program and current CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic patient care and ADL assistance
- Taking and recording vital signs accurately
- Safe transfer and mobility assistance
- Clear, professional communication with patients and care teams
- Basic charting and documentation practices
- Infection control and safe clinical practices
