Shift Type: Per diem schedule, days vary; 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (Day shift)

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with patient mobility and safe transfers, using proper body mechanics
- Support rehabilitation activities under the guidance of nursing/therapy teams
- Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for patients and families
- Document care clearly and communicate effectively during shift handoffs
- Follow infection control protocols and facility policies at all times
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Active basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Comfortable working in a rehab/healthcare setting and assisting with mobility
- Reliable, compassionate, and able to communicate well with patients and team members
- Ability to pass facility background checks and meet onboarding requirements
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an approved CNA training program and certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient handling and safe transfer techniques
- Basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADL assistance, feeding and toileting support
- Strong observational skills and ability to report clinical changes
- Infection prevention and proper PPE use
- Teamwork, time management, and clear documentation practices
