Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to adults and rehab patients
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately following facility policy
• Monitor patient status and report changes promptly to the care team
• Perform routine assessments and document findings clearly and timely
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and providers to support care plans
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers to ensure smooth patient flow
• Help maintain a clean, safe clinical environment and adhere to infection control practices

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license — New Mexico licensure preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain upon hire
• Previous LPN experience in rehab, acute care, or similar clinical setting preferred
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and adapt to per diem scheduling

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program (diploma or certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in medication administration, wound care basics, and patient assessments
• Comfortable using electronic health records for documentation
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Knowledge of infection control, safety standards, and basic rehab nursing principles
• Good clinical judgment and a compassionate bedside manner
