Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical function and design individualized therapy plans that make a measurable difference
• Implement therapeutic interventions including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and gait training
• Monitor progress and modify treatment plans to maximize patient outcomes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate compassionate, comprehensive care
• Educate patients and families on home programs and injury prevention to extend gains beyond the clinic
• Document treatment sessions and outcomes clearly and timely in the medical record

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Mississippi or able to obtain state licensure prior to start
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Clinical experience providing physical therapy services, ideally in a small-facility or outpatient setting
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
• Reliable professional references and commitment to quality care

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred or Bachelor's/Master's in Physical Therapy (as applicable per state rules)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment, therapeutic exercise prescription, and manual therapy techniques
• Experience with gait training, balance training, and functional mobility interventions
• Comfortable documenting care in electronic medical records
• Excellent interpersonal skills for patient and family education
• Ability to prioritize caseloads and manage time effectively in a smaller facility setting
