Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, direct patient care on assigned shift
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Perform thorough patient assessments and report changes in condition
- Document care clearly and promptly in the patient record
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and providers to deliver coordinated care
- Support patient comfort, education, and discharge planning
- Adhere to facility policies, infection control practices, and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid LPN license in good standing (Registered Nurse applicants with equivalent credentials may also be considered)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
- Experience in acute or rehab settings is a plus but enthusiastic newcomers are welcome
- Ability to work a 12+ hour night shift and provide consistent, high-quality care
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Education
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in vital signs monitoring, patient assessment, and basic nursing procedures
- Comfortable with medication administration and accurate documentation
- Familiarity with electronic medical records or quick to learn charting systems
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Team-oriented approach and strong patient advocacy skills
