Location: Orting, WA
Contract Type: Perm
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Day shift, No weekend rotation)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $45 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate speech, language, cognition and swallowing to create clear baselines
- Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans and measurable goals
- Deliver compassionate therapy and track patient progress, adjusting plans as needed
- Collaborate with families, caregivers and the interdisciplinary team to maximize outcomes
- Document clinical findings, treatment plans and progress notes in a timely and compliant manner
- Provide education and training to staff and caregivers to support carryover and success
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Washington state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist, or eligibility to obtain licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or in progress
- Experience working with pediatric populations is a strong plus (Class: P-SLP)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and teamwork mindset
- Current immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings as required by the facility
Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent graduate degree)
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in assessment and diagnosis of speech, language and swallowing disorders
- Proficient in developing individualized treatment plans and measurable goals
- Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies
- Strong documentation practices and electronic medical record experience
- Family-centered care approach and ability to provide caregiver training
