Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, respectful hands-on care to patients — help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and equipment
- Measure and record vital signs accurately and report any concerning changes promptly
- Support nursing staff by stocking supplies, maintaining clean patient areas, and following infection control practices
- Document care activities clearly and timely in the chart or electronic record
- Communicate effectively with the care team and patients’ families to ensure coordinated care
- Observe and report changes in patient condition so the team can respond quickly
- Help create a positive patient experience through kindness, patience, and attention to detail
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) in good standing
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Prior experience in long-term care, rehab, or acute care is a plus but new grads with strong skills are welcome
- Ability to pass required health screenings and background checks
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently on per diem shifts
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completed accredited CNA training program and active CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient care skills including ADLs and safe patient handling
- Comfortable taking and recording vital signs and basic observations
- Basic charting and documentation skills; ability to learn electronic health records
- Good communication and teamwork — you’ll coordinate with nurses, therapists, and support staff
- Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
- Understanding of infection control, safety protocols, and patient privacy
