Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM Day shift

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living to patients
- Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility support
- Measure and record vital signs and report any changes in patient condition
- Document care accurately and promptly in patient records
- Communicate effectively with nurses, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Help maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control protocols
- Support patients’ dignity and comfort while promoting independence
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — ready to work in New Mexico
- Comfortable assisting with personal care and patient mobility
- Clear background check and up-to-date immunizations as required by facility policies
- Reliable, punctual, and able to thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Prior experience in long-term care, rehab, or acute care is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current CNA certification (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and team members
- Basic patient care skills including vital signs, transfers, and ADL assistance
- Familiarity with infection prevention practices and patient safety standards
- Ability to observe, recognize, and report changes in patient status
- Basic documentation skills and comfort learning electronic charting systems
