Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including assistance with activities of daily living
- Assist with personal hygiene, mobility, feeding and comfort measures with dignity and respect
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition promptly to the nursing team
- Support accurate and timely documentation to ensure continuity of care
- Help maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
- Collaborate with colleagues and families to deliver person-centered care
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Ability to work the day shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
- Local candidates only (assignment noted as LOCAL ONLY)
- Strong communication skills and a patient, caring attitude
Education
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Practical knowledge of resident care and activities of daily living
- Comfortable with documentation and following care plans
- Infection control and safety awareness
- Good teamwork, communication, and observational skills
