Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to assigned patients
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
- Perform clinical assessments and monitor patient status
- Document care and communicate changes clearly in the health record
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support patient goals
- Assist patients with activities of daily living and comfort measures
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies with professionalism
- Support a positive patient experience through clear, empathetic communication
Qualifications
- Active LPN or RN license in Maryland required
- Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain prior to start
- Comfortable working per diem/evening shifts with a flexible schedule
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and teamwork mindset
- Able to pass required background checks and health screenings
Education
- LPN: Practical Nursing diploma or certificate
- RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and IV/route knowledge appropriate to licensure
- Patient assessment and documentation best practices
- Familiarity with electronic health records and charting
- Infection control, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication, time management, and prioritization skills
- Team collaboration and patient-centered care approach
