Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct care and assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Take and record vital signs, reporting any concerns to the nursing team promptly
• Support safe and comfortable transfers and mobility for residents
• Document care accurately and timely in the resident chart to ensure continuity
• Practice infection control and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and families to deliver individualized care plans
• Offer emotional support and build trusting relationships with residents and their loved ones

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential — VT or NH licensure noted in job title
• Eligible to work in the United States (documentation requirements per facility)
• Reliable, compassionate, and ready to work the listed day shift schedule including weekends
• Comfortable with basic resident care, documentation, and teamwork in a long-term care setting

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient transfers, ADLs, and basic bedside care
• Comfortable taking and charting vital signs and observations
• Strong communication skills with residents, families, and clinical staff
• Knowledge of infection control practices and safe patient handling
• Able to follow care plans and document care clearly and accurately
• Team-oriented mindset with a focus on resident dignity and safety
