Shift Type: Varied / As scheduled, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM NOC (Night shift)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care including assistance with daily living activities
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient observations accurately
- Support mobility, transfers, and safe positioning for rehabilitation patients
- Assist nursing team with procedures and documentation as directed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and dignified environment for patients
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families, and the care team
- Report changes in patient condition promptly to nursing staff
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification in New Mexico (required)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred
- Demonstrated experience in long-term care or rehab settings helpful
- Up-to-date immunizations and ability to complete facility onboarding
- Reliable, patient-focused, and able to work independently on per diem shifts
Education
- High school diploma or GED
- Completed state-approved CNA program
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient care skills and safe transfer techniques
- Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
- Basic knowledge of infection control and standard precautions
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with patients and team members
- Comfortable working with rehab patients and supporting therapeutic goals
- Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
