Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, hands-on nursing care as a Licensed Practical Nurse to support patient comfort and recovery
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document all care in the patient record
• Perform thorough patient assessments and promptly communicate changes to the care team
• Provide clear patient and family education to promote understanding and safe transitions
• Collaborate with RNs, providers, and interdisciplinary staff to coordinate excellent care
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow facility policies and infection control practices
• Support continuity of care for a smooth travel assignment handoff and transition

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license - required
• Availability for an every-weekend commitment as stated in the assignment
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the facility
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or must obtain upon hire
• Ability to pass standard background, drug screen, and health credentialing requirements

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• Active LPN licensure in the appropriate state

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong medication administration and patient monitoring skills
• Comfortable with wound care, vital sign monitoring, and basic procedures within LPN scope
• Skilled at timely, clear documentation in electronic health records
• Excellent communication and teamwork to coordinate care across disciplines
• Good time management and prioritization in a busy clinical environment
