Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, respectful basic care to residents and patients
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Take and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
- Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics during care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — required
- Active CNA authorization or license in New Mexico
- Comfortable providing hands-on patient care and assisting with ADLs
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient-focused attitude
- Previous CNA experience preferred but motivated new CNAs are welcome
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited CNA program
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid understanding of basic patient care and infection control
- Competent with vital signs, transfers, and ADL assistance
- Good observational skills to notice and report changes in condition
- Teamwork and collaboration with nurses and other care staff
- Basic documentation skills and attention to detail
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
