Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray exams and fluoroscopic procedures with care and precision
• Operate and maintain radiology equipment while following radiation safety protocols
• Document patient care and imaging results accurately using EPIC EMR
• Provide compassionate patient positioning, prep, and education for every procedure
• Float between Outpatient Imaging and the main hospital to support patient flow where needed
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and the trauma team to deliver timely imaging in a Level II trauma setting
• Maintain required certifications and permits, ensuring compliance with state and facility standards

Qualifications

• Current California Certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) – required
• Current CPR certification – required
• Valid Fluoroscopy permit – required
• Experience charting in EPIC EMR – required
• At least 2 years of acute care radiology experience preferred
• Prior successful completion of travel assignments is a plus
• Comfortable floating between outpatient imaging and hospital-based work

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in radiologic technology, X-ray imaging, and fluoroscopy
• Proficient with EPIC (EMR) documentation and workflows
• Strong understanding of radiation safety and infection control practices
• Experience in trauma and acute care imaging environments
• Patient-focused communication and positioning techniques
• Ability to work independently on night shifts and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
