Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with department standards and policies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings clearly in the medical record
• Maintain infection control and safety standards to protect patients and staff
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and colleagues to ensure understanding and continuity of care
• Adapt quickly to site-specific workflows, equipment and electronic medical record systems

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience (as listed in the job posting)
• Active, unrestricted state licensure or certification appropriate to the allied role
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; additional certifications as required by specialty encouraged
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication, time management and prioritization skills
• Willingness to complete facility orientation and comply with travel assignment requirements

Education

• Completion of an accredited allied health program or equivalent certification/degree as required by specialty

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and clinical decision-making
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate documentation
• Infection prevention and safety best practices
• Strong interpersonal skills and patient/family education
• Ability to adapt to different unit workflows and equipment
• Critical thinking and the ability to triage and escalate concerns appropriately
