Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images with care and precision
• Position and prepare patients respectfully and safely, ensuring comfort and clear communication
• Perform pre-scan safety checks, contrast screening, and follow facility protocols
• Document procedures accurately in patient records and imaging systems
• Collaborate closely with technologists, radiologists, and clinical staff to deliver timely imaging services
• Maintain imaging equipment and report any issues to biomedical/engineering promptly

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification (required)
• License/Certificate Verification completed per facility requirements
• Successful completion of Trinity Skills Checklist prior to start
• Ability to meet facility health requirements (fit test, immunizations, TB screening, drug screen, COVID-19 vaccine, etc.)
• Experience operating CT (Computed Tomography) equipment and working in a diagnostic imaging environment

Education

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program or equivalent training preferred
• Any state-required radiography/CT certification or credential as applicable

Knowledge & Skills

• Computed Tomography (CT) protocols and imaging fundamentals
• Patient positioning, radiation safety, and infection control
• Strong patient communication and compassionate bedside manner
• Attention to detail for accurate documentation and image quality
• Ability to work independently during weekend coverage and escalate issues when needed
