Roles & Responsibilities

• Support interventional radiology procedures with safe, sterile technique and expert imaging assistance
• Operate and maintain IR imaging equipment including GE Innova and MedRad injector to ensure high-quality imaging
• Assist with vascular access procedures, dialysis catheter placements and IVC/TIPS cases to optimize patient outcomes
• Provide CT-guided biopsy support and coordinate with radiology staff for seamless procedures
• Accurately document care and procedure details in Cerner/RadNet EMR systems
• Collaborate with IR RNs, Radiology Assistants and Radiologists across campuses to deliver patient-centered care
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide reliable after-hours support when scheduled

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification preferred (ARRT (RT)(R) preferred noted in job details)
• Current BLS certification required
• Fluoroscopy certification required
• Minimum 2 years of relevant interventional radiology / imaging experience
• BSN required (as listed in job posting)
• Ability to work a 4x10 schedule and participate in rotational weekend/on-call coverage
• Comfort working with adult populations (no pediatric patients) and occasional inmate population

• Strong sterile technique, patient care, and effective communication skills
• Ability to function well on a small team supporting multiple campuses
