Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient perioperative nursing care throughout surgical procedures
• Prepare and maintain a sterile field and ensure all instruments and equipment are ready
• Perform thorough patient assessments and collaborate with the surgical team
• Document care and patient data accurately in Meditech
• Support trauma and vascular cases when needed and adapt to varied surgical procedures
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care
• Contribute to a positive unit culture by being reliable, easygoing, and self-motivated

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) credential — you know your way around the OR
• Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience (as listed)
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications (required)
• Meditech EMR experience (must-have)
• Trauma and vascular experience preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Perioperative nursing practices and sterile technique
• Meditech EMR documentation and workflow
• Trauma and vascular case familiarity (preferred)
• Strong situational awareness, teamwork, and clear communication
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced operating room environment
