Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, hygiene) with dignity and respect
Take and record vital signs accurately to support care plans
Respond promptly to resident calls and provide attentive bedside care
Observe and report skin integrity changes and assist with turning/repositioning to prevent pressure injuries
Safely transfer residents to beds, chairs, or wheelchairs and assist with mobility
Maintain cleanliness in resident care areas including changing sheets and restocking supplies
Collect and report resident information to nurses and providers to support coordinated care

Qualifications

Current California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license (required)
Current CPR certification (required)
Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English to follow care plans and communicate with residents/families
Comfort working under pressure in a long-term care environment
Demonstrated ability to relate compassionately with residents, families, and care teams

Education

Current California CNA license (required)
Current CPR certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in ADLs (activities of daily living) assistance
Accurate vital signs measurement and documentation
Resident transfers and safe handling techniques
Skin integrity assessment and turning/repositioning practices
Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness of resident areas
Effective communication and teamwork in a clinical setting
Basic supply restocking and room upkeep

Benefits

Sign-on bonus: $1,500
Progressive pay scale with 30 pay increments to reward up to 30 years of relevant experience
