Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living — bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting with dignity and respect
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
Perform safe resident transfers (bed, chair, wheelchair) and assist with turning/repositioning to preserve skin integrity
Respond promptly to resident calls and attend to needs with compassion
Observe and report skin integrity changes and other clinical concerns to nurses and providers
Maintain cleanliness of resident care areas: change linens, restock supplies, and promote a sanitary environment
Document care and communicate observations clearly so the care team can make informed decisions

Qualifications

Current California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license (required)
Current CPR certification (required)
Comfortable performing ADLs, transfers, and basic clinical observations
Ability to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking, comprehension)
Able to work under pressure and relate well to residents, families, and long-term care staff
Willingness to work 12-hour day shifts

Education

Current California CNA license
Current CPR certification

Knowledge & Skills

Assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting)
Accurate vital sign measurement
Safe resident transfers and repositioning techniques
Skin integrity observation and basic wound awareness
Clear documentation and communication with the care team
Basic infection control, hygiene, and restocking procedures
CPR knowledge and emergency responsiveness

Benefits

Sign-on bonus: $1,500
Progressive pay scale with 30 pay increments rewarding up to 30 years of relevant experience
